Overview
Spectrum Sentry Net is a
comprehensive suite of software tools designed for government, law enforcement
and professional applications. Tools are provided for maintaining frequency
databases, advanced monitoring, recording and analysis.
Comprehensive Receiver Support
Spectrum Sentry Net supports a wide range of radio receivers, including
models from Cubic, DRS (WJ) and Ten-Tec as well as AOR, Icom®, Uniden® and
others.
Advanced Intercept Logging
Spectrum Sentry Net offers
advanced logging and recording features. Received audio is recorded to hard disk
and indexed by frequency, ID code, time and date. Signal activity data can also
be recorded in several different formats, including comma delimited (CSD), ASCII
listing format, DBASE and binary.
Advanced Intercept Archival Features
Spectrum Sentry Net includes an archival feature that allows the operator
to review recorded intercepts, saving only those of interest while deleting the
remainder. The archive feature includes a catalog so that intercepts can be
organized and stored according to operator-defined criteria.
Digital Playback Enhancement
Spectrum Sentry Net includes the Digital Audio
Studio, a full-featured audio playback facility that includes speech
enhancement, sub-segment selection, annotation and wave export tools. In
addition, the operator can work with selected portions of recorded audio for
playback and enhancement.
Remote Monitoring
Spectrum Sentry Net can connect to both local and remote radio receivers
using a variety of connectivity choices. Local receivers can be connected via
serial (RS-232), USB and IEEE-488 ports. Remote receivers can be connected using
terminal server devices, dial-up modems, remote monitoring appliances or remote
servers. With the remote appliance or server, high quality audio and receiver
control functions are provided over standard networking infrastructure. See the
Remote Monitoring Appliance data sheet for more information.
Workgroup Features
Spectrum Sentry Net has built-in workgroup features
that allow multiple radio monitoring workstations to share information,
receivers and audio switching equipment over a local area network. Configuration
data can be entered on one workstation and automatically propagated to other
workstations in the group.
Multiple Receiver Support
Each Spectrum Sentry Net workstation can control up
to thirty-two receivers simultaneously. The number of receivers supported may
also limited by available hardware, such as sound card channels or serial ports.
Standard Features
Spectrum SentryNet includes
all of the tools provided in Spectrum Manager. See
Spectrum Manager for additional information. These features include:
